“Snarling Rock 'n' Roll scraped from the New York City streets when Thunders & The Ramones ruled the roost.”
BLACK CATS NYC are a guitar driven Rock 'n’ Roll band, straight off the streets of New York City - Put your club clothes on, grab that someone special, and "Come Along for the Ride!”
Out of the ashes of a pre-gentrified lower east side come the BLACK CATS NYC. This quintet performs with the vibe and style of Johnny Thunders' Heartbreakers, the tongue-in-cheek power of AC/DC, and an I.V. full of Chuck Berry and Eddie Cochran on a constant drip. Taking it back to when cool was king and grit ruled the airwaves.
BLACK CATS NYC are:
Andrew Giordano Vocals/Rhythm Guitar: Born with rock 'n' roll in his blood, this self-taught musician has been composing and performing since he was a teenager. Rescuing him from rock 'n roll purgatory, Black Cats NYC has reignited Andrew's passion for music.
Francesco D'Ambrosio Lead Guitar: He is old school cool, bringing it raw & dirty. An accomplished guitarist in his native Italy, Francesco fortifies the double-barreled guitar attack and keeps the BLACK CATS NYC purring.
Stan Esposito II Bass: One cool cat that lives in the pocket. Top-shelf style along with A-1 chops, he lets his fingers do the talkin'. Stan is the anchor of the Black Cats rhythm section and keeps the ladies dancing all night long.
Jason Reddish Drums: A fixture on the NYC music scene. An accomplished musician with a diverse musical background, from bebop to hard rock and everything in between. The backbone of the BLACK CATS NYC, Jason is a hide hitter that really gets down.
Julie Smith Vocals/ Tambourine: Dazzling our fans from the very beginning, Julie's vocals and alluring stage presence drives all the bad boys wild! A professionally trained dancer, actress, & singer. When not rockin' with her favorite Cats, she can be seen on stage with The Love Show or acting on your favorite prime time TV Show. Julie is positively purrrfect.

Black Cats NYC are back and ready to shake it up with their latest single, Signorina! An electrifying track that marks a new chapter for the band. Known for their gritty blend of hard rock, glam, and punk, the band kicks it up a notch with this single. Reunited with the soulful backing vocals of Julie Smith they have added that infectious Ska vibe of The Hoboken Horns (featuring Tony Orbach and Kevin Batchelor of Urban Blight) who really lay-it-down.

Black Cats NYC have a swagger that delivers the kind of bold & electrifying rock 'n' roll that is sorely missed in today's music.
